Company History
Founded in 1872 by Charles H. Taylor and Eben Jordan, The Boston Globe became one of America's most influential newspapers. It was acquired by The New York Times Company in 1993 and later sold to Boston Red Sox owner John Henry in 2013. The newspaper has won numerous Pulitzer Prizes, most notably for its 2002 investigation into sexual abuse in the Catholic Church, which inspired the film Spotlight.
